Speech Therapy Memo – Sycosounds Part 1 and Part 2

Here’s a speech therapy version of the well-known memory game. It trains not only visual and auditory memory but also articulation while maintaining phonetic clarity.

One side of each game token encodes a sound and a word with the sounds “C” and “DZ.” The other side displays a corresponding picture, which you can hear a short description of when you touch it with the Albik pen. The player’s task is to find as many word pairs as possible, using either the sound associated with the object (under the musical note symbol) for the more difficult option, or the easier option of listening to the clue (under the light bulb symbol).

In addition to the 48 tokens, the game includes two activity cards, each containing illustrations and audio material for practicing the sounds “C” and “DZ.” Thanks to the recording function with comparison to the narrator’s pronunciation, the player can hear their own voice and correct their pronunciation in real time.

Speech therapist Izabela Fryska created this unique concept and the text for the tokens and activity cards, while Magdalena Jakubowska created the unique illustrations.

The memory game and activity cards contain approximately 260 recordings.
