An illustrator who draws emotions
My name is Magdalena Jakubowska — I’m an illustrator and graphic designer, a graduate of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań, where I majored in graphic design.
Illustration is my primary creative and professional path —the space where I feel most myself. I create digitally, combining work in Procreate and Photoshop, but I place great importance on ensuring my work retains the character of natural, freehand linework.
Color, lightness, and positive emotion are close to my heart. I like it when an illustration not only “looks good” but also conveys emotion — it builds a mood, tells a story, and stays with the viewer for a long time.
